About Scott Winter
Scott Winter is married to his amazing wife, Jessica, and they have two beautiful children, Tatum and Blake. A member of his local church and volunteer in the community, Scott loves the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with his family. After graduating from Bemidji High School, Scott spent three years of active duty in the U.S. Army, including 18 months in Korea. Once off active duty he attended the University of North Dakota and Bemidji State University for business, then was activated with the Minnesota National Guard for a one-year tour in Bosnia. Upon returning home from Bosnia, Scott started Northwoods Landscape and Recreation, specializing in playground sales, designs, and installs. He also had crews in landscape, mowing and plowing.
Since day one, playgrounds and park equipment have been Scott's passion. Sensing it was time to focus 100 percent of his attention to his first love, Scott sold the landscape, mowing, and plowing portion of the business in 2015. By serving customers through Northwoods Playground & Park Amenities, he looks forward to furthering the commitment to his dream.
